Animation Tools Programmer (C++)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; 12-month temporary engagement through staffing partner Yoh Enterprise Solutions.

Base pay: $47.98–$59.95 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Design and implement systems supporting animation systems for the MLB The Show product line.
• Maintain and improve existing animation tools and systems.
• Write clear, maintainable, portable, and functional code.
• Profile and tune code and systems to remove performance bottlenecks.
• Develop tools and technology supporting animation project requirements.
• Test and debug code, collaborate with designers, and turn ideas into game features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of programming experience.
• Expertise in C++.
• Self-motivation and good communication skills.
• Ability and motivation to work collaboratively with other team members.
• Commitment to code quality and sound testing procedures.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of baseball rules and strategies.
