Financial Analyst Sr

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule in Toronto at 483 Bay Street, moving to the Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway in approximately late 2026; current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: CAD 90,000–113,000 total annual cash compensation, including base salary and target performance bonus.

What you will do

• Complete complex financial analyses and business cases for new distribution initiatives and product opportunities.
• Develop KPIs, success measures, post-implementation assessments, market-share metrics, and gap analyses.
• Design management reports and analytics to address current and anticipated business needs.
• Partner with Emerging Distribution and Finance colleagues on business cases, product and pricing matters, competitive intelligence, market opportunities, and positioning.
• Support Legal with regulatory document filings and lead value-enhancement initiatives directed by firm committees.
• Lead annual business planning for emerging distribution channels, including financial stewardship, expense management, and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a finance department, including at least 2 years in financial analysis and modeling, reporting, budgeting, and/or business planning; financial services experience is preferred.
• University degree focused on business, accounting, economics, commerce, finance, mathematics, or statistics, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex financial concepts into business terminology and present to senior management.
• Ability to manage relationships across management levels, influence and convince others, adapt recommendations to different audiences, and respond effectively to questions and objections.
• Strong attention to detail, accountability, independent decision-making, organization, prioritization, and ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, conflict-resolution ability, superior customer-service focus, and willingness to take on challenges and learn.
• Overtime is required during month-end periods.

Nice to have

• CPA designation, or progress toward or completion of another professional designation such as CFA or MBA.
