Analytics Engineer Sr (Databricks)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain reusable, analysis-ready datasets for reporting, dashboards, data science, and AI use cases.
• Design and support cloud-based ETL/ELT workflows, ingestion pipelines, transformations, and analytical models using Alteryx, Databricks, PySpark, APIs, and related tools.
• Build automated reports and dashboards, translate business questions into analytical approaches, and identify trends, anomalies, drivers, and opportunities.
• Validate data, perform QA and logic reviews, troubleshoot modeling and metric-consistency issues, and improve workflow scalability and delivery quality.
• Document transformation logic, dependencies, joins, assumptions, semantic definitions, and data-quality considerations.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, AI Scientists, Data Engineers, Architects, internal teams, and client stakeholders on governed data assets and reporting needs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, cloud data platforms, and enterprise analytics solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
• Experience creating dashboards and interactive reports with filters, drill-downs, trend analysis, and executive-friendly visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
• Experience developing Alteryx and other ETL workflows for automated reporting.
• Databricks experience with Python, PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and Workflows, plus Azure or other cloud data platforms and services.
• Experience with API integrations, data ingestion frameworks, ETL/ELT pipeline design, workflow orchestration, data modeling, performance optimization, monitoring, and operational support.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, access management, production support, data validation, and automated anomaly detection.
• Ability to translate analytical outputs into business language and collaborate with client stakeholders, Data Scientists, AI Scientists, Data Engineers, and Architects.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and consulting is a plus; candidates may still apply with gaps in the listed qualifications.
