Multi-Media Journalist (Telemundo)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States; must be willing to work in Philadelphia and travel throughout the tri-state viewing area.

What you will do

• Identify, pitch, develop, and execute original stories across Philadelphia, South Jersey, and Delaware.
• Research, shoot, write, edit, and deliver news content for broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms.
• Pursue enterprise reporting, exclusive stories, investigative opportunities, and meaningful follow-ups.
• Deliver accurate and engaging live reports, including breaking-news coverage.
• Build community relationships and maintain a diverse network of sources.
• Communicate with producers, the assignment desk, and newsroom leadership while managing assignments from pitch through publication.

Requirements

• At least two years of professional reporting or multimedia journalism experience, preferably in television news.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Spanish-language storytelling, on-air presentation, and live-reporting abilities.
• Proficiency in videography, nonlinear editing, and digital content production.
• Strong editorial judgment and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and age 18 or older.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and breaking-news coverage.
• Willingness to join the SAG-AFTRA union.
