Full Stack Software Engineer (AI-Enabled Healthcare Analytics)

Location: Hybrid in Bloomfield, Connecticut, United States. Occasional or permanent home working requires cable broadband or fiber internet with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.

Salary: $130,200–$217,000 annually, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications supporting healthcare cost analytics and forecasting.
• Build modern APIs and web applications and deliver production-ready code across testing, deployment, monitoring, and support.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data professionals, product partners, and business stakeholders to solve complex healthcare challenges.
• Evaluate architectural options, make engineering trade-offs, and communicate technical decisions.
• Use AI technologies and LLM frameworks to improve developer productivity, delivery speed, and user experiences.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, technical mentorship, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience developing APIs with modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar technologies.
• 10+ years of experience building web applications with modern frameworks, with strong React experience preferred.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with distributed application architectures.
• 2+ years working in Agile delivery teams using Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.
• 2+ years using end-to-end testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright.
• Hands-on experience with AI and LLM technologies, including LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, OpenAI, Claude, or comparable platforms.
• Strong experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and large-scale datasets.
• Experience with Git-based source control, pull requests, collaborative code reviews, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical work.
• Ability to mentor teammates and contribute to technical excellence.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, automated testing, and continuous delivery.
• Cloud platform experience, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, Teradata, or other big data technologies.
• Understanding of user experience principles and familiarity with Figma.
• Healthcare industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
