Operations Analyst - Distribution

Location: Anderson, South Carolina, United States; work in both office and distribution center environments with occasional movement through warehouse areas.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, and analytical tools for distribution operations.
• Analyze operational trends and KPIs across distribution, warehousing, transportation, inventory accuracy, and quality performance.
• Partner with Distribution, Transportation, Quality, Business Operations, and Information Technology teams to translate requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
• Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and recommendations addressing efficiency, cost, quality, productivity, and service levels.
• Identify reporting automation and process improvement opportunities, coordinate functional and technical projects, and support analytical solution implementation.
• Maintain data accuracy, reporting standards, documentation, business rules, data models, and analytical solution integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least two years of experience in business analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, operational analytics, or a related technical role.
• Advanced experience developing and maintaining Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Advanced SQL querying and data analysis skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas, and data modeling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including communication across all organizational levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP data structures, reporting, and analytics.
• Experience with Python for automation, scripting, or data analysis and with Linux environments.
• Understanding of distribution, warehousing, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, and quality processes.
• Experience with data automation, ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, warehouse management systems, or supply chain analytics.
• Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, or business intelligence certifications.
