Systems Administrator (Windows/Linux)

Location: Aberdeen, MD, United States; primarily office-based

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year; final offer depends on location, skillset, and experience.

What you will do

• Administer Windows and/or Linux servers, including user accounts, patching, and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
• Manage and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and other network infrastructure.
• Provide Tier 1/2 end-user support, including VTC setup, account resets, and software troubleshooting.
• Monitor security logs, respond to alerts, and support incident response and remediation.
• Maintain backups and test disaster recovery plans.
• Provide technical support across assigned performance areas and escalate complex issues when needed.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Top Secret/SCI level.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work primarily in an office environment and meet the stated physical requirements, including occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
