Actuarial Analyst, Global Reserving

Location: Warren, New Jersey, United States, or Zurich, Switzerland

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 annually

What you will do

• Support quarterly and year-end reserve studies for assigned lines of business.
• Analyze accident-year development, reserve movements, and actual-versus-expected results.
• Prepare reserving exhibits, management presentations, and actuarial reports.
• Collaborate with Claims, Underwriting, Finance, and Pricing on emerging loss trends and portfolio changes.
• Maintain and enhance reserving models, databases, and reporting tools.
• Support documentation, controls, governance, audits, regulatory requests, data quality, and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of P&C actuarial experience.
• Progress toward the ACAS or FCAS designation.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Excel and actuarial software.
• Successful progression through actuarial examinations.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SQL, Python, R, or data visualization tools.
