Global Supply Planner - Spain

Location: Hybrid role based in Badalona, Spain

What you will do

• Manage supply plans and inventory targets for assigned product lines across the European central distribution hub, including inbound material requirements and slow-moving inventory.
• Use demand forecasts to develop production-focused forecasts and rough-cut capacity plans with operations and regional supply teams.
• Collaborate with logistics, operations, commercial, manufacturing, and demand planning teams on shipping modes, supply frequency, lead times, and inventory requirements.
• Resolve capacity constraints and material shortages, coordinating reallocations, resupply activities, and expedited shipment approvals.
• Support product launches, discontinuations, and transitions, including master data updates to reduce customer disruption and inventory obsolescence.
• Lead S&OP supply reviews, monitor supply chain and service metrics, recommend risk mitigation actions, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of supply chain planning experience, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced supply chain planning tools.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and data management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, graphing, and data analysis.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Nice to have

• SAP experience.
• Kinaxis experience.
• Power BI experience.
• APICS certification, such as CPIM or CSCP, or a similar supply chain certification.
