What you will do

• Drive technical and consumption strategy for complex enterprise customer engagements, influencing platform adoption and revenue growth.
• Own senior technical relationships and advise executive stakeholders on enterprise data and AI strategy.
• Lead architecture engagements involving multi-workload platforms, enterprise migrations, real-time systems, and AI/ML at scale.
• Develop competitive strategies and lead evaluations against incumbent and emerging platforms.
• Orchestrate DSAs, SSAs, partners, and product teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
• Mentor junior solutions architects and contribute to customer-facing thought leadership, workshops, and community engagement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, principal engineering, technical pre-sales leadership, or senior customer-facing technical roles.
• Expert-level coding proficiency in Python and SQL; Spark or PySpark is ideally included. A live coding assessment and platform build are part of the interview.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture, including distributed systems at scale, streaming and real-time systems, lakehouse design patterns, data governance frameworks, and cloud-native platforms.
• Expert-level Databricks Platform knowledge or equivalent depth in competing platforms with demonstrated rapid learning ability.
• Recognized technical specialization in areas such as real-time architectures, ML/AI platforms, data governance, large-scale migrations, or industry-specific solutions.
• Proven experience driving consumption growth and platform adoption in large accounts.
• Executive presence and the ability to influence Directors, VPs, and C-level stakeholders on long-term data and AI strategy.
• Experience leading competitive displacements and complex enterprise evaluations, with strong strategic thinking connecting technical decisions to business outcomes and revenue impact.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Databricks certifications.
• Prior experience at Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Google, Microsoft, or a top-tier data/AI company.
• Published thought leadership, including blogs, conference talks, or open-source contributions.
• Industry vertical expertise with executive-level domain credibility.
