What you will do

• Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable analytics solutions and process improvements.
• Understand business processes and data sources, model data for reuse, and support analytics data solutions with system support teams.
• Acquire, clean, preprocess, query, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Develop analytical and forecasting models, dashboards, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Ensure data integrity through audits and validation, and establish data governance practices.
• Lead initiatives to build sustainable data pipelines, automations, and advanced analytics solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Four years of experience required for Senior Data Analyst, Grade 11. Six years of experience required for Lead Data Analyst, Grade 12.
• Experience identifying data sources, querying data, performing exploratory analysis or modeling, presenting business insights, and supporting data-driven changes.
• Ability to manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data from varying sources.
• Ability to solve analytical problems using quantitative approaches and communicate complex analysis clearly and precisely.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems with incomplete information or ambiguous requirements.
• Strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to collaborate with business partners and influence stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, ADF, Synapse, Power Query, M, Databricks, or other data transformation tools.
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence self-service analytics tools.
• Exposure to quantitative, statistical, econometric, or machine learning models for predicting outcomes and evaluating alternatives.
