Senior Data Analyst (Python/SQL)

Salary: $93,434.00–$155,000.00/year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives

What you will do

• Analyze and interpret data for initiative work streams using exploratory, statistical, and analytical methodologies.
• Develop creative solutions, business cases, decision-support tools, and scalable data extraction, transformation, and analytics pipelines.
• Perform feature engineering, data manipulation, forecasting analysis, and time-series visualization.
• Lead work streams in cross-functional projects by organizing timelines and deliverables, facilitating meetings, addressing issues, and reporting results.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate analytical findings and support business decisions.
• Provide expert guidance, monitor implementation progress, and identify improvement opportunities while adapting to changing priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, plus 2 years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
• Experience performing exploratory data analysis on time series using Python, SQL, and Tableau.
• Experience with feature engineering using Python and SQL; complex SQL queries including window functions, procedural language, and common table expressions; and SQL-based data manipulation.
• Experience visualizing time-series data for performance analysis using Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience creating forecasting metrics using statistical methods such as SMAPE, BIAS, and MAE.
• Experience developing data extraction, transformation, and analytics pipelines using PySpark, and building efficient and scalable data pipelines with Python and SQL.
• Experience using GitHub for collaborative project management and creating pull requests.
• Experience investigating data with machine-learning Python libraries including Pandas, Scikit-learn, and NumPy.
