Senior Engineer II - IT Systems (Virtualization)

What you will do

• Configure, manage, maintain, patch, and security-harden global virtual environments based on VMware, Proxmox, and Nutanix.
• Install and configure physical servers and manage Lenovo, HPE, and Dell hardware.
• Manage VMware Aria Automation, create cloud templates, and extend the service to AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Manage VMware Aria Operations, including rightsizing, planning, and troubleshooting.
• Work with infrastructure teams to solve problems and support the Level 2 team with training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 7.5–9 years of experience.
• Excellent knowledge of VMware vSphere, VMware Cloud Foundation, and Proxmox.
• Good knowledge of VMware Aria Automation and VMware Aria Operations.
• Good knowledge of Lenovo, HPE, and Dell hardware.
• Good working knowledge of a wide variety of operating systems.
• Ability to work as part of a global team and remotely support the global virtualization footprint.
• Good teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Nutanix.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containers.
• Knowledge of storage systems and technologies.
