What you will do

• Design and develop high-performance C/C++ embedded software for Linux and VxWorks.
• Implement real-time operating system and networking protocol functionality to meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Develop modular, scalable software aligned with system requirements.
• Design automated testing scripts and integrate testing into the development lifecycle.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize software reliability, performance, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with factory teams, peer engineering teams, and third-party vendors on testing, calibration, requirements, defects, and delivery schedules.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering; or a bachelor’s degree in one of these fields or a related field.
• 0–1 years of industry experience in embedded software development.
• Applied C/C++ programming for embedded systems.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of photonic technologies and their application in networking systems.
• Understanding of CPU hardware architectures, hardware functional specifications, timing diagrams, and device data sheets.
• Experience with data-driven architectures, YANG, REST, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with Bitbucket or GitHub for version control and code collaboration.
• Experience with real-time operating systems, networking protocols, host applications, hardware devices, and drivers.
• Familiarity with microservice-based architectures and Linux or VxWorks platforms.
