Senior Systems Administrator (Web3)

Location: Remote in the United States, EMEA, LATAM, or Canada. Applications from candidates based in France, Italy, or Germany cannot be considered.

US pay range: $138,745–$202,336 USD, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits; this range applies to US-based candidates only. Compensation outside the US is determined by location, experience, and skills.

What you will do

• Provide ticket management, remote technical support, hardware and software support, networking, videoconferencing, and general technical assistance.
• Handle employee onboarding and offboarding, including procuring and shipping equipment to remote employees across the EU.
• Execute large-scale technical projects and company-wide technology initiatives.
• Administer and improve cloud infrastructure and SaaS platforms including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian, as well as MDM tooling.
• Manage hybrid systems, lead critical-system incident response with root cause analysis and post-incident reviews, and improve observability through automation.
• Define and enforce security and access-control policies, support compliance requirements with Security teams, and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Strong working knowledge of cloud infrastructure environments.
• Experience administering enterprise SaaS platforms and MDM solutions such as JumpCloud or Okta.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, identity management, and access control.
• Ability to operate autonomously and make sound technical decisions under pressure.
• Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain technical complexity to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in a Web3, fintech, or high-growth technology environment.
• Exposure to security frameworks or compliance programs such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
• Experience supporting globally distributed, fully remote teams.
• Experience with at least two major cloud providers among AWS, GCP, and Azure.
