Senior Manager, Order-to-Cash Assurance

Location: San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA; hybrid policy requires staff to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.

What you will do

• Design and run recurring audit programs across the order-to-cash lifecycle, including pricing, contract-to-invoice accuracy, credits, refunds, concessions, and cash application.
• Define accuracy metrics, baselines, and targets; report pricing and invoice errors, first-pass yield, rework, and revenue leakage so teams can act on findings.
• Trace findings to root causes and partner with process, systems, contracting, pricing, Order Management, AR, Revenue Accounting, Billing Engineering, GTM, and related teams on fixes.
• Move from periodic sampling to continuous, system-driven monitoring and build controls into new products, channels, commercial models, and regions.
• Own O2C policies, control ownership, segregation of duties, independent reviews, and month-end close reviews while partnering with Internal Audit, external auditors, Tax, Legal, and Revenue Accounting.
• Build reusable guardrails and deploy AI and automation for exception detection, reconciliation, anomaly detection, and evidence collection.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing and running audit, quality, or revenue assurance programs within order-to-cash, billing operations, or quote-to-cash.
• Working knowledge of revenue recognition under ASC 606 and experience partnering with internal and external auditors.
• Experience with contracting systems, billing platforms, or ERP systems such as Salesforce, Stripe, or Workday Financials.
• Proficiency with SQL or similar tools for analyzing and testing transactional data.
• Experience using automation or AI for monitoring, testing, or reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of progressive experience in revenue operations, billing operations, revenue assurance, finance operations, or internal controls within order-to-cash at a public company.
• Experience simplifying processes by removing steps or controls while improving accuracy or strengthening the control environment.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• CPA, CIA, CISA, CRISC, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP certification.
• Experience building or scaling SOX programs and preparing for public-company reporting requirements.
• Experience with global, multi-entity operations, statutory invoicing, tax considerations, B2C and B2B customers, and consumption-based or subscription billing through collections.
• Experience working with go-to-market, deal desk, and revenue operations organizations; strong cross-functional influence and communication.
• Understanding of AI industry business models and enterprise customer needs.
