Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United Kingdom, Latvia, or Spain; candidates must reside in one of these countries and have the legal right to work there. Full-time remote position; B2B and contractor arrangements are not accepted.

What you will do

• Own product problems end to end, from discovery and design through production release and iteration.
• Build, test, and maintain scalable full-stack features using React, TanStack Router, modular-react, Node.js, Fastify, and Drizzle.
• Develop in a Dockerized TypeScript environment with Vitest and Playwright.
• Partner with Product, Design, engineers, and stakeholders to identify customer problems and shape product direction.
• Champion AI-native engineering practices across the SDLC and improve development speed and quality.
• Participate in the on-duty rotation, improve service reliability, mentor engineers, and promote engineering excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production software, including strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React and the ability to work across different systems and technologies.
• Strong full-stack fundamentals, including modern frontend architecture, component design, state management, performance, API design, message queues such as SNS/SQS or RabbitMQ, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, with effective practices for solving complex problems and delivering quality software.
• Strong product engineering mindset, customer focus, ownership, initiative, and accountability beyond code merge.
• Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, feedback, and knowledge-sharing skills.
• Track record of leading complex projects end to end, from technical design through production rollout.
• Strong quality and testing habits covering unit, integration, and broader testing practices.
• Genuine drive to keep learning and work effectively in a fast-paced remote setting.

Nice to have

• Experience as an open-source maintainer or contributor.
• Familiarity with the localization industry and software localization.
