Full Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia.

Remuneration including super: AUD $85,000–$115,000, depending on experience. Equity options are offered.

hirify.global builds software and AI agents for construction, infrastructure, and industrial companies, including products for data capture, safety, quality, field reporting, fleet management, integrations, and mobile work.

What you will do

• Build and ship product features across frontend, backend, and mobile with guidance from experienced engineers.
• Use AI coding tools and agentic engineering practices for planning, implementation, and review.
• Fix bugs, improve product stability, and investigate and resolve production issues across web and mobile products.
• Develop product understanding by connecting technical decisions to customer problems and outcomes.
• Take increasing ownership of end-to-end feature delivery, from technical approach through release and production performance.

Requirements

• Curiosity, drive, and willingness to learn.
• Some experience building software through a startup, bootcamp, university, or side project.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered developer tools and agentic engineering practices.
• A product mindset and interest in understanding customer problems rather than only implementing tickets.
• Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
• Knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript, React or Angular, and Node.js.

Nice to have

• Experience with MongoDB or AWS.
• Mobile development or React Native experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup or product environment.
