Internal Controller (Fintech)

What you will do

• Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc audits across headquarters and branch offices, focusing on business and operational risks.
• Prepare internal and regulatory reports and oversee recommendation remediation from findings through closure.
• Monitor compliance with internal standards and drive adoption of scalable control mechanisms.
• Analyze business processes to improve security, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in internal control, compliance, or audit, preferably in a fast-paced fintech or high-growth environment.
• Fluent English is required for communication across the international team.
• Strong understanding of capital markets and regulatory frameworks governing investment firms.
• Sharp analytical skills, including identifying gaps, drawing conclusions, and proposing pragmatic solutions.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo, take action, and deliver results through teamwork.

Nice to have

• Experience working with a financial supervisory authority, such as KNF.
