Technical Project Manager (Marketing Operations)

Location: Vienna, Virginia, United States (onsite)

What you will do

• Coordinate a portfolio of Marketing Operations and technology initiatives, translating business objectives into priorities, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
• Lead portfolio governance through decision registers, RAID logs, escalation paths, ownership maps, RACI matrices, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate demand, capacity, delivery readiness, integrations, data dependencies, testing, access, approvals, releases, and operational handoffs.
• Align business, product, analytics, technology, architecture, security, risk, compliance, data, and vendor stakeholders while preserving accountable owners’ decision authority.
• Coordinate communications, training, adoption, stabilization, lifecycle improvements, transition planning, and operational risk remediation.
• Deliver reusable portfolio management tools and operating practices by the end of the six-month engagement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project, program, or portfolio management experience coordinating multiple concurrent business and technology initiatives.
• Experience developing integrated roadmaps, coordinating priorities, and managing dependencies across business, technology, and vendor teams.
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills, including presenting options and trade-offs clearly.
• Experience with portfolio governance, RAID management, decision tracking, and outcome-focused leadership reporting.
• Working knowledge of technology delivery lifecycles, platform integrations, data flows, release readiness, and operational support models.
• Ability to establish accountability, document processes and operating models, and move work forward without direct authority over delivery teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with marketing technology ecosystems covering customer engagement, content, workflow, analytics, or data platforms.
• Adobe Experience Manager Assets (AEM/EDA/EDAM), Marketing Operations, metadata governance, and taxonomy programs.
• Digital marketing asset lifecycle management, change management, and organizational readiness experience.
