Investment Operations Intern (Finance)

Location: Milwaukee, WI; full-time, onsite internship. Candidates must reside in the Milwaukee area for the duration of the program.

Compensation: $16.50–$30.00 per hour. Internship pay is determined by academic tenure and major.

What you will do

• Support the timely and accurate execution and settlement of investment transactions managed by the front office.
• Review and reconcile cash, investment positions, and critical investment data.
• Maintain investment data across systems and investigate cash receivable and payable exceptions.
• Maintain records and reconcile physical securities.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries about investment holdings and activity.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a college degree program with a business major and an emphasis in finance, accounting, management, or real estate.
• Have a GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Be self-motivated and organized, able to work independently, multitask, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Have strong interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
