Intern, Private Wealth

Location: New York, NY, or Chicago, IL for Fund Accounting; in-person location at hirify.global Place New York, 225 Liberty Street, 8th Floor. Hours: 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday.

Compensation: $25 USD per hour.

hirify.global Private Wealth provides alternative investment solutions to private wealth investors through financial advisors and intermediaries.

What you will do

• Support sales activities including client and prospect engagement, territory management, data analysis, reporting, CRM activities, and distribution initiatives.
• Support onboarding and ongoing operations for investment products and distribution relationships, including trade reconciliations, activity reporting, launches, and coordination with third-party providers.
• Assist with fund accounting, financial and operational reporting, fund deliverables, financial statements, holdings and performance analysis, budgeting, expenses, and tax-related reporting.
• Support finance and accounting activities such as accounts payable, employee expense reviews, financial processes, and recurring daily, weekly, and monthly work.
• Support legal and regulatory initiatives, including monitoring, testing, policy and procedure reviews, regulatory research, marketing reviews, and compliance projects.
• Collaborate across hirify.global, participate in team meetings and training, and develop knowledge of alternative investments and the private wealth industry.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• Strong interest in asset management, alternative investments, and/or financial markets.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing needs.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn.
