What you will do

• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities according to corporate deadlines and internal controls.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and variance analyses for regulatory accounts.
• Research complex regulatory accounting transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and regulatory balance tracking to support compliance.
• Partner with Financial Reporting, Regulatory Accounting, and cross-functional stakeholders during elevated close activity and SAP ERP transformation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally at the Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant level.
• SAP expertise and comfort working in large, matrixed organizations.
• Experience in regulated-industry accounting, such as utilities, energy, government, or a similar sector.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently with strong analytical rigor and documentation accuracy.
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach combining manager-level judgment with hands-on execution.
