Senior Accountant (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; on-site at the Union Square office

Salary: $159.8K–$188K plus equity

What you will do

• Own and support monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis.
• Manage operational accounting areas such as cash, accruals, payroll, capitalized commissions, fixed assets, and revenue-related balances.
• Prepare financial analyses and reporting packages for Finance leadership and FP&A.
• Partner with FP&A to align accounting results, forecasts, and business drivers.
• Improve and automate close processes, internal controls, and reporting workflows.
• Support audits and reviews while collaborating cross-functionally on accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth or dynamic environments.
• Experience in a technology or scale-up startup environment.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting processes.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable owning work end to end.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Big Four or high-growth technology company experience.
• CPA or another accounting certification.
• Experience with NetSuite, FloQast, or similar tools.
• Exposure to revenue or product accounting.
• Interest in automation, systems, and AI-enabled workflows.
