TL;DR
Staff Accountant (Project and Fixed Asset Accounting): Supporting project accounting and transitioning to fixed asset accounting with an accent on monthly close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. Focus on managing accounting support during employee leaves, handling ad hoc accounting projects, and adapting responsibilities as business needs evolve.
Location: Hybrid in Bolingbrook, Illinois; onsite 6 days per month, Tuesday through Thursday every other week during corporate weeks.

What you will do
- Support the Project Accounting function initially.
- Transition to Fixed Asset Accounting responsibilities as business needs evolve.
- Provide accounting support during two planned employee leaves of absence.
- Participate in monthly close activities, prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, and perform variance analyses.
- Assist with other accounting projects and ad hoc requests.
Requirements
- Must be able to work on a W-2 basis only.
- Must be able to work onsite in Bolingbrook, Illinois, 6 days per month.
- C2C and 1099 arrangements are not accepted.
