Senior Client Service Representative - Fund Accounting/Alternatives (Fund Accounting)

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 annual base salary plus annual target bonus

What you will do

• Support client requests, deliverables, inquiries, issue resolution, and service-standard measurement.
• Monitor client accounts and operational production, escalating requests and issues to the appropriate client service supervisor or team.
• Assist with client conversions, reporting, analyses, and oversight activities.
• Use internal technology solutions to manage and escalate inquiries while following established procedures, best practices, and process controls.
• Develop working knowledge of either fund accounting or custody within alternative fund services.

Requirements

• BA degree or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant or industry experience is preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with aptitude for numbers, accuracy, and organization.
• Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure and solve problems by identifying, recommending, and implementing solutions.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
• Language skills commensurate with the Boston office location and supported client relationships.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
• For fund accounting: knowledge or practical experience with general ledger systems, partnership accounting, alternative fund structures, consolidations, group structures, consolidation systems, IFRS, local GAAP, consolidated IFRS financial statements, and alternative fund investor reporting standards such as INREV and ILPA.
• For custody: knowledge of the regulatory framework for depositary and custody duties, including AIFMD; asset supervision requirements for assets held in custody and away from custody; broader depositary oversight requirements; and alternative-funds industry initiatives and regulatory environment.
