Junior Electronic Systems Engineer - Telecommunications

Location: Hybrid role in Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain; includes up to 4 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area. A relocation package is available for candidates from other countries.

hirify.global is expanding its teams in the space sector, including a Time and Frequency team in Madrid.

What you will do

• Develop and assemble electronic systems for time and frequency applications, selecting components from technical data sheets.
• Program at low level in C and integrate I2C, SPI, UART, and Ethernet communication buses.
• Test and characterise systems in the laboratory using oscilloscopes, time interval counters, signal generators, multimeters, and other instruments.
• Calibrate synchronisation equipment by measuring and compensating delays.
• Create Python scripts for test automation and data processing.
• Prepare test procedures, test reports, and calibration reports.

Requirements

• Degree or background in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Solid electronics fundamentals and ability to read and interpret technical data sheets.
• Knowledge of I2C, SPI, and UART communication buses.
• Programming skills in C and Python.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Practical experience with laboratory instruments, including oscilloscopes, time interval counters, signal generators, and multimeters.
• Technical English required.
