Senior QA Automation Engineer (Fintech)

Félix is a hyper-growth Series C fintech building an AI-powered conversational financial companion for Latinos in the US, with remittances, credit, savings, wallet services, and crypto-enabled financial infrastructure.

What you will do

• Define, design, execute, and document comprehensive test plans with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams.
• Develop end-to-end test cases covering positive, negative, and corner cases, and integrate them into UI and API automation frameworks.
• Improve and maintain reliable, scalable, and reusable automation frameworks and infrastructure.
• Perform exploratory testing, reproduce and triage defects, and provide defect analysis and test metrics for release decisions.
• Build and maintain monitoring for test stability and communicate testing results, risks, and release readiness.
• Champion quality practices while helping improve test coverage, release velocity, and production health.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer or as a developer with a strong focus on testing.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing test plans, developing test cases, and documenting test outcomes for complex product features.
• Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks and using UI and/or API testing tools such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Python experience, even if it is not the main programming language.
• Comfort working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
