Asset Servicing Americas, Risk and Control Execution Lead (Risk and Control)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; other listed locations include Toronto, Canada, Boston, MA, and New York, NY.

Salary: $171,700–$300,500 USD base pay annually.

What you will do

• Lead the control program supporting the Asset Servicing Americas Region and provide executive management with assurance that business activities are appropriately controlled.
• Design the target operating model, including metrics and storyboards covering aggregate and horizontal trends, themes, and risks.
• Direct embedded control teams in identifying, assessing, and remediating control weaknesses and gaps.
• Manage remediation reviews and ensure gaps identified by stakeholders are appropriately addressed.
• Oversee incident response and apply lessons learned across the extended business unit.
• Collaborate with first-, second-, and third-line executives and process owners to improve the control framework and reduce losses, errors, threats, and risks.

• Excellent project management, oral communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to translate broad strategic intent into tactical plans and directions.
• Strong decision-making skills where control changes affect clients, business processes, and ongoing operations.
• Ability to negotiate with senior leaders across the business.
• Strong organizational skills, including prioritizing multiple tasks across different time horizons and meeting deadlines.
• Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who takes ownership of issues and drives them to resolution.
