Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift (Water Quality)

Location: On site in Scarborough, Maine, United States; 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 3:30 p.m.–11:30 p.m.

Annual salary target: $70,000–$75,000, depending on experience, plus potential annual cash bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate operators and team leads across multiple production lines to meet daily production and quality targets.
• Assign staffing and work, monitor activities, evaluate performance, address critical issues, and develop employees through training and coaching.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality Control, Engineering Technical staff, and other production supervisors to maintain product quality and availability.
• Use SAP to close production orders, reconcile labor and material variances, and review process controls with employees.
• Own and close quality records in Compliance Quest, including nonconformances, CAPAs, and change controls, while maintaining training and audit readiness.
• Create procedures, reports, and documentation; lead improvement teams focused on production methods, equipment performance, operator development, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma plus an equivalent combination of further education, training, and leadership experience.
• Professional and positive verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and desire to lead, direct, and delegate a diverse production team.
• Proven ability to teach and coach others, build team engagement, and establish employee trust.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP or inventory management system, a quality management system such as Compliance Quest, and Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft applications.
• Working understanding of document control and quality system requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong data-gathering, accuracy, consistency, critical-thinking, problem-solving, planning, execution, and analytical skills.
• Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the role.
