Senior Azure DevOps Engineer (Terraform & GitHub Actions)

What you will do

• Assess the existing Azure environment, gather stakeholder requirements, and identify unused resources, infrastructure waste, and legacy components for decommissioning.
• Define the target platform architecture, subscription strategy, effort estimates, and delivery timelines.
• Build reusable Terraform modules for landing zones, networking, and identity foundations.
• Deploy and validate foundational Azure components and establish governed, code-managed provisioning for subscriptions and shared services.
• Support the subsequent workload migration phase and contribute code within established standards, conventions, guidelines, and sprint ceremonies.

Requirements

• Proven senior-level Azure platform engineering experience.
• Terraform expertise, including module development, state management, and reusable patterns.
• Experience using GitHub Actions for infrastructure automation.
• Azure networking knowledge, including hybrid connectivity, VNets, DNS, and private endpoints.
• Ability to work independently, engage stakeholders, and drive technical delivery forward.
• Hands-on individual contributor experience with the ability to contribute code and collaborate effectively within an established team.

Nice to have

• Experience with TACOS tooling such as Atlantis, Digger, or equivalent.
• Experience in regulated industries; healthcare or HIPAA experience is a plus.
