Lead Cost Manager, ANS (Data Center)

Location: Dallas, TX, United States; hybrid work with a mix of remote work, onsite client work, and work in an hirify.global office or center. Some in-person time is required for collaboration, learning, relationship-building, and client engagement.

What you will do

• Prepare cost estimates and cost plans using benchmarking data for review.
• Develop value engineering and life cycle costing options to improve project efficiency.
• Identify potential risks, support the project Risk Register, and prepare cost control reports tracking financial performance.
• Participate in pre-contract, client, and design team meetings; provide cost insights, assess cost implications, and document decisions and actions.
• Prepare and manage change order logs, invoice logs, detailed cost reports, project templates, development appraisals, and qualification reviews.
• Oversee measurements and pricing research for project cost planning and control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Data Analytics, or another cost- or construction-focused field.
• 7+ years of cost management experience for the Lead Consultant level.

Nice to have

• Experience working in hyperscale data centers.
• Thorough knowledge of construction processes, management techniques, methods, and materials.
• Proficiency with advanced CostX functions for producing estimates, bills, and related outputs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
