Accounting Technical Specialist with Portuguese

Location: Hybrid, Gdansk, Poland. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Poland, including individuals benefiting from temporary protection under applicable Polish and EU regulations, subject to verification of right-to-work documentation.

Base compensation in Poland: 74,200 PLN–137,800 PLN, plus potential annual bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain global financial statement templates for Portuguese-language reporting in ONESOURCE Statutory Reporting.
• Ensure reporting templates comply with accounting regulations across supported countries.
• Push templates to the web version and identify issues affecting clients.
• Test reporting templates and platform functionality against quality standards, development protocols, and requirements; document findings and help drive fixes.
• Prepare release notes and client and internal communications.
• Research client enquiries and support internal stakeholders and Customer Support using feedback from Support and Professional Services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, another numerical discipline, or an equivalent overseas qualification.
• Fluent Portuguese and English required.
• Good technical skills and knowledge of financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication and receptiveness to feedback.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a globally distributed team, share information, and follow through on commitments.
• Legal authorization to work in Poland and valid right-to-work documentation required.

Nice to have

• Introductory familiarity with tax and accounting research tools and AI-driven platforms, with eagerness to learn new tools.
• Basic experience with tax and accounting compliance software, such as ONESOURCE or similar local tools.
• Foundational knowledge of CSV, XML, SQL, XBRL, or JSON data formats and structures.
• Knowledge of another language.
