VP, AWS Practice Lead - North America (AWS)

Location: Remote, Columbia, MD, United States

Starting pay range: $275,000–$325,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AWS practice, including delivery frameworks, solutions, accelerators, templates, automation, and value creation.
• Build and maintain the strategic AWS partnership for North America and align relationships and best practices with LATAM AWS leaders.
• Drive AWS business development through client engagement, solution design, proposal development, and joint pipeline creation.
• Serve as an AWS subject matter expert, staying current with platform updates, best practices, and emerging trends while connecting technical experts as needed.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to grow the AWS practice and improve client satisfaction.
• Provide thought leadership through publications, speaking engagements, and conferences.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience within a consulting firm specializing in AWS cloud solutions, ideally for Data/AI projects.
• Strong understanding of AWS architecture, implementation best practices, and cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Experience leading content-rich workshops and discussions with CXO-level stakeholders on industry trends, points of view, problem areas, and innovations.
• Track record of driving business growth through strategic initiatives, client relationship management, and solution innovation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Certifications in AWS or relevant cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, OpenAI, or Anthropic.
