Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Fully remote; work from anywhere, with flexibility for meetings during US Eastern hours

What you will do

• Own products end-to-end, from ambiguous requirements through deployment and operation.
• Ship production code daily across Python and TypeScript backends, TypeScript/JavaScript React and Next frontends, and data pipelines.
• Translate unclear client needs into system designs and working software.
• Make architecture decisions and maintain clean APIs, thoughtful data models, testing, logging, and documentation.
• Conduct teaching-oriented code reviews, pair programming, technical writing, and lunch-and-learns.
• Present to clients and contribute hands-on to client work while remaining an individual contributor.

Requirements

• 3+ years shipping production systems owned end-to-end.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to make sound architectural decisions.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar technology stacks and choose appropriate tools.
• Experience building with an AI-augmented workflow while maintaining structure, guardrails, and manageable technical debt.
• Thorough approach to edge-case testing, documentation, and evaluating implications.
• Clear written communication, helpful code reviews, and confident client presentations.
• Self-directed time management, prioritization, and delivery without micromanagement.
• Track record of mentoring without moving into a purely managerial role.
• History of working successfully in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
