Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake)

Location: Elastic hybrid from Warsaw, Kraków, or Gdańsk, Poland

Salary: 1,100–1,550 PLN/MD on B2B

What you will do

• Own and maintain a Snowflake-based data platform end to end.
• Develop and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS, Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python.
• Build data models and support Power BI reporting and semantic models.
• Monitor data quality, pipeline performance, and platform costs.
• Ensure data security, governance, and PII protection.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and other business teams on data requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Strong production experience with Snowflake and dbt, plus advanced SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with AWS, including S3, Lambda/ECS, IAM, and data replication.
• Strong data modelling and ETL/ELT pipeline development skills.
• Experience with Power BI, DAX, and semantic models.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality monitoring, and PII security.
• Experience in financial services, trading, or fintech.
• Fluent, professional English in written and spoken communication.
