What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design scalable and reliable software solutions.
• Collaborate with distributed teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Use AI tools to accelerate delivery and solve technical challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Practical knowledge of AI tools for software development and the ability to use them beyond the primary technology stack.
• Adaptability to different technologies and technical requirements.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Python scripting.
• Next.js.
• AWS Glue Jobs.
• Generative AI and prompt engineering.

Culture & Benefits

• Fully remote work for candidates located in Poland.
• Minimum planned work duration of 12 months, starting in January.
• Employment at 0.125 FTE under an employment contract, plus a service contract under B2B or mandate-contract terms.
• B2B contract with hirify.global, one monthly invoice, and payment on the client payment schedule of up to 60 days.
• Contract written under the candidate's country's law; work performed using client-provided equipment.

• 15-minute English check.
• Internal technical interview lasting 1–1.5 hours, followed by a one-hour client interview.
• 45-minute client cultural-fit interview.
