Senior Specialist, Research and Data Services - Milan

Location: Milan, Italy

Annualized base salary: €35,750–€48,000 gross per year; eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus of up to 7% of base salary.

What you will do

• Conduct desktop business research for short- to medium-term consulting, expert delivery, and practice projects.
• Support research planning and execution, understand stakeholder information needs, and deliver accurate, comprehensive, and well-organized results.
• Apply local, regional, global, general, industry, and capability-specific data sources and business research tools.
• Support asset building, acquisitions, cataloging, system updates, collection tracking, and maintenance of department resources.
• Deliver just-in-time and group training, share knowledge, and contribute to research enablement.
• Participate in product and service evaluations, process and tool improvements, marketing efforts, and small-scale initiatives; occasionally coach less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Fluent written and verbal communication in English and the native language.
• 3–5 years of business research experience in consulting, market research, professional services, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience using business research databases such as Factiva, LSEG/Refinitiv, and S&P CapitalIQ; industry-specialized databases are beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, multi-industry, and economic topics.
• Experience working effectively with diverse and cross-cultural stakeholders.
• Strong organization, prioritization, time management, and pressure management skills.
• Experience taking initiative to improve working efficiency, plus training and presentation skills.
• Degree in Information Science, business, or an equivalent combination of higher education, training, and experience.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving role and new technology enablement.
