Expert Business Analyst (Public Sector)

Location: Rome, Italy, with smart working possibility and a hybrid work model.

Salary: Gross annual base salary starting from €36,000.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end business analysis activities for public sector clients, from requirements definition through validation of implemented solutions.
• Lead client interviews to identify business issues and propose solutions.
• Document and design processes, including as-is and to-be customer environments, roadmaps, and efficiency improvements.
• Guide and support junior and mid-level team members in analysis, requirements gathering, and functional requirements production.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations, workshops, and proposals, while managing stakeholder expectations and alignment with business needs.
• Identify and manage requirements changes and risks, optimize business analysis processes, and contribute to interviewing candidates for analytical and functional skills.

Requirements

• Degree in a technical or business discipline.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in the Public Sector.
• Advanced expertise in business process analysis, functional requirements definition, and business solution design.
• Ability to guide and mentor team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders at different technical and business levels.
• Operational autonomy and ability to manage priorities across multiple projects.
