Public Sector Business Analyst (AdvisoryX)

What you will do

• Lead client interviews, gather requirements, identify business issues, and define effective solutions.
• Own functional and process analysis from requirements gathering through solution validation.
• Document processes, resolve complex process issues, and design as-is and to-be customer environment roadmaps.
• Support business and IT strategy transformation through client presentations, workshops, proposals, bids, and Statements of Work.
• Identify risks and assumptions, shape program governance, and maintain alignment with stakeholders and business needs.
• Guide junior and mid-level colleagues and participate in hiring interviews assessing analytical and functional competencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Senior-level experience in Management Consulting, ideally in the Public Sector.
• Advanced expertise in business process analysis, functional requirements gathering, and business solution design.
• Experience with Microsoft Visio, Enterprise Architect, Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps across waterfall and agile delivery models.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills, including mentoring capability.
• Italian mother tongue and good command of English, written and spoken, required.

Nice to have

• CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or another relevant Business Analysis certification.
• Practical knowledge of AI and Generative AI tools for document and data analysis, interview preparation, requirements refinement, process study, gap analysis, and executive deliverables.
