Senior Java Developer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications and cloud-based solutions.
• Use AWS services to support application deployment, availability, and scalability.
• Design database schemas, write SQL queries, troubleshoot performance, and maintain batch processing systems for large data volumes.
• Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and developers to resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience as a Java Developer in a product development or services environment.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and Event Bus.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including SQL and performance troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to collaborate within a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with batch processing frameworks and tools.
• Python experience.
