Product Manager Infrastructure (IoT)

Location: Hybrid, Fernitz bei Graz, Austria

Salary: Minimum EUR 3,954.00 gross per month for full-time employment; willingness to pay depends on actual qualifications.

What you will do

• Own and drive technical product management for IoT infrastructure and related components across hardware, connectivity, wireless communication, and software platforms.
• Translate business, customer, and operational needs into technical requirements, product priorities, and development plans.
• Drive infrastructure topics from requirements and concept definition through development, validation, launch, product introduction, and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate with Product Management, R&D, System Engineering, Quality, Operations, Sales, and customer-facing teams.
• Evaluate system dependencies and technical trade-offs while ensuring scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Support complex technical discussions with Sales and customers and maintain an end-to-end view of the IoT ecosystem.

Requirements

• University degree or Higher Technical College qualification in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical Product Management, System Engineering, Solution Engineering, IoT, telecommunications, network infrastructure, or a comparable technical role.
• Experience with IoT or connected-device architectures and direct collaboration with software and/or hardware development teams.
• Experience translating customer and business requirements into technical requirements and development priorities.
• Solid technical understanding and ability to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Good knowledge of IoT technologies and networking, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Zigbee, LoRa, APIs, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of device provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English; ability to manage projects, coordinate multiple tasks, and deliver within agreed timelines.
• Strong data analysis, communication, teamwork, and customer-service skills; willingness to travel up to 20%.

• Experience using radio frequency (RF) analysis.
• Experience participating in technical customer or Sales discussions.
