Lead Technical Product Manager (Web3)

Location: Vienna, Austria; hybrid working model combining onsite collaboration and remote work. An additional 25 days per year may be worked from a city or country of choice.

What you will do

• Own Vision Chain at the infrastructure level, including fee mechanisms, block-building logic, and modifications to the OP Stack in collaboration with OP Labs.
• Manage technical relationships with infrastructure providers for RPC nodes, indexing, oracles, and related services.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Data Protection teams to implement compliant transaction screening, identity, and privacy solutions onchain.
• Run reliability, incident management, and infrastructure cost management.
• Own developer documentation and partner technical onboarding until a developer relations lead joins.
• Coordinate with Vision Web3 product leads so the chain roadmap supports products built on top of it.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product or engineering experience, including 3+ years focused on blockchain infrastructure. Relevant areas include L1/L2, rollup-as-a-service, node infrastructure providers, account abstraction, or exchange protocol teams.
• Deep understanding of EVM rollup mechanics, including sequencing, fees, proofs, withdrawals, bridges, upgrade keys, and account abstraction.
• Ability to translate complex business and regulatory needs into precise technical requirements and drive delivery through engineering teams and external partners without direct management.
• Experience partnering with Compliance, Legal, and Data Protection teams.
• Working knowledge of the EU crypto regulatory landscape, including MiCA, DORA, AML/CFT, and sanctions screening.
• Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills for internal teams, leadership, and external partners.
