Asbestos Consultant (Asbestos Surveying)

Location: Remote, UK field based; Shropshire, United Kingdom. The role involves travelling to and working at client sites across the UK, primarily domestic properties.

Salary: From £38,000 per year depending on experience, plus a company vehicle and paid overtime.

What you will do

• Conduct asbestos surveys, safely sample suspect materials and accurately record findings according to job instructions and internal procedures.
• Assess asbestos risks and advise clients on appropriate removal or safe management.
• Provide ongoing support to help clients maintain legal and safety compliance.
• Work with clients and project teams to communicate findings, deliver timely reports and resolve on-site issues.
• Travel independently to client sites across the UK, with most initial work taking place at domestic properties.

Requirements

• RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Surveying or P402 Qualification.
• Full driving licence valid for use in the UK.
• At least 6 months of relevant asbestos surveying experience.
• Technical knowledge, a strong focus on safety and high attention to detail.
• Confidence working independently, travelling to and working at client sites, assessing asbestos risks and providing professional, compliant advice.
