Learning & Development Specialist (Shipping, Maritime, or Oil & Gas)

What you will do

• Facilitate in-person and virtual learning, global webinars, workshops, seminars and divisional training weeks.
• Deliver and coordinate professional skills training and manage learning events, logistics and communications.
• Maintain and develop hirify.global Academy content and administer the hirify.global Academy and Udemy platforms.
• Monitor learner engagement, report on platform utilisation and coordinate Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers qualification activity.
• Support leadership development, professional coaching, performance reviews and managers' learning needs.
• Manage stakeholders, the Learning & Development Committee, external providers and support the Global Trainee Broker Programme.

Requirements

• Experience delivering and facilitating training, workshops or development programmes.
• Experience managing learning programmes, events or learning platforms.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences across different levels and locations.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and operate in a global, dynamic and commercially focused environment.
• Knowledge of learning management systems and online learning platforms.
• Knowledge of the shipping, maritime, oil & gas or related industries.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers qualifications.
• Coaching or facilitation accreditation.
• Experience designing learning content and materials.
