Technical Lead for 5G Satellite Payload Integration

Location: Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain. Hybrid working model with up to 4 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the definition, integration, and verification of a 5G NTN satellite communications payload.
• Define and maintain payload requirements, architecture, and interfaces.
• Coordinate integration of the SDR, 3GPP firmware, and RF front-end with the platform and ground segment.
• Review RF, processing, synchronisation, power-consumption, and data requirements and performance specifications.
• Coordinate suppliers and in-house multidisciplinary specialists while identifying risks, incompatibilities, and outstanding technical decisions.

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Experience integrating or developing complex electronic or communications systems.
• Solid knowledge in at least one of radio frequency, SDR, or signal processing, with the ability to liaise with specialists in the other areas.
• Experience defining requirements, interfaces, and test plans.
• Ability to coordinate suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Technical English.
