Business Consultant & Special Projects – Substations (AP & China) (Nov 2026)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia; Jakarta, Indonesia; or Bangkok, Thailand. Remote/flexible work is available.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional special projects addressing execution challenges, productivity gaps, and delivery risks across the Substations business in Asia Pacific and China.
• Drive targeted improvement initiatives, including performance deep-dives, recovery support, process optimization, and end-to-end implementation.
• Consolidate and analyze data across projects, logistics, factories, and service organizations to identify trends, root causes, and systemic performance gaps.
• Develop fact-based analyses, dashboards, and deep-dives that support prioritization and leadership decision-making.
• Improve execution interfaces across logistics, factory manufacturing, installation and commissioning service, and Substation Automation/Digital Grid.
• Develop scalable solutions, standards, and best practices while supporting reporting and alignment with the global team.

Requirements

• Experience in business analysis, PMO, consulting, or project execution roles within complex EPC or infrastructure environments.
• Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional initiatives or special projects with tangible outcomes.
• Strong analytical capability and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Solid understanding of project execution environments and coordination across logistics, factory, service, and digital interfaces.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across matrix organizations.
• Experience working across Asia Pacific and China with cultural and operational awareness.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly when structuring topics for senior stakeholders and cross-functional alignment.
