Senior Consultant - Depositary Fund Oversight (Investment Risk Oversight)

What you will do

• Monitor regulatory requirements under COLL and AIFMD, fund-specific requirements, and compliance monitoring plans for authorised fund managers.
• Assess asset eligibility across equities, bonds, structured products, derivatives, and corporate events, and perform investment risk analysis covering liquidity, derivative exposure, and fair value pricing.
• Support developments to depositary risk management frameworks, including environmental, social, and governance investment oversight.
• Lead fund oversight reviews for scheme launches and change events.
• Conduct due diligence visits and produce reports on investment compliance monitoring, liquidity monitoring, and fair value pricing oversight.
• Manage team workloads, priorities, KPIs, management information, and relationships with offshore locations, AFM equivalents, senior managers, and delegates.

Requirements

• Knowledge of depositary duties and responsibilities.
• Understanding of investment risk, fund products and operating structures, investment strategies, and asset classes.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of FCA regulations for funds and depositary responsibilities.
• Previous relevant risk management or compliance experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Effective communication, relationship management, organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
