What you will do

• Own the technical direction and long-term architecture of the data platform.
• Build scalable and reliable data foundations for analytics and AI.
• Make high-impact technical decisions across data engineering and agentic workflows.
• Lead complex technical initiatives and influence engineering strategy across teams without formal authority.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise the standard for engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Staff-level experience building and scaling production data platforms.
• Strong expertise in data architecture, distributed systems, and multi-tenant environments.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, dbt, and modern data pipelines.
• A track record of leading complex technical initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong interest in solving difficult problems, balancing innovation with reliability, and building for the long term.
• Ability to work in London, UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
