What you will do

• Own and streamline data pipelines from ingestion to delivery, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Implement and maintain dbt best practices, data standards, and data quality controls.
• Build self-service data tooling for Engineering, Revenue Operations, Growth, and other cross-functional teams.
• Write clear documentation that enables teams to meet their data needs independently.
• Create AI agents that answer data questions for other teams.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience formalising and scaling data pipelines, ideally as one of the first or early data engineers on a growing team.
• Expert knowledge of dbt.
• Proficiency with modern data stack tools, including Python, SQL, and BI tools.
• Strong infrastructure fundamentals, including Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools and GCP or other cloud providers.
• Structured thinking and the ability to simplify complex, messy data into clear structures.
• Strong ability to understand varied stakeholder requirements and build generalised solutions.
